Animated GIF Assignment 2

What were you trying to accomplish?
I was trying to make a cute flower in Photoshop for this GIF however it is not so cute.

What technical skills did you use to create the project?
I Used Adobe Photoshop. I thought about what I wanted to do and at first I was going to make a flower with the petals falling to the ground but I found Photoshop a bit challenging for creating an illustration. I am a lot more comfortable in Illustrator.

How do you feel you did on the project?
I think I did okay but not as well as I would have liked to do. I think I am going to try and make another GIF in my free time just for fun and to see if I can do better.

I'm really proud of how it turned out because I think it looks really good. It makes me want to create more things in After Effects. :) Below is a link to the tutorial I chose. Which happens to be the one that Martin posted on the assignment page. :) Glass Orb Tutorial

What were you trying to accomplish?  I wanted to see if I could recreate this classic Barbie of my childhood in Adobe Illustrator. What technical skills did you use to create the project? I used Adobe Illustrator. I used the pen tool a lot and the pencil tool. I also created a lot of gradients. In hindsight I wish I would have used pathways or whatever it's called because I spent about 5 hours on just her hair.  How do you feel you did on the project? Overall I think I did pretty good. It was harder redoing her eyes because the photo was so pixelated. But I spent around 10 hours on it so I think I did well. :)
