Assignment 11 3D Pop Up Video

What were you trying to accomplish?
To create a video showing a pop up slideshow of pictures.
What technical skills did you use to create the project?
I used Adobe After Effects and not very well.
How do you feel you did on the project?
I feel I did awful because I couldn't figure out how to show the shadows and I spent a long time trying to get them just right. They aren't their and I don't know why. Also I STILL DON'T KNOW how to add music. So I probably should have just googled that. If we have another assignment with After Effects I will just google it. Sorry it turned out so crappy. :(

I'm really proud of how it turned out because I think it looks really good. It makes me want to create more things in After Effects. :) Below is a link to the tutorial I chose. Which happens to be the one that Martin posted on the assignment page. :) Glass Orb Tutorial

What were you trying to accomplish?  I wanted to see if I could recreate this classic Barbie of my childhood in Adobe Illustrator. What technical skills did you use to create the project? I used Adobe Illustrator. I used the pen tool a lot and the pencil tool. I also created a lot of gradients. In hindsight I wish I would have used pathways or whatever it's called because I spent about 5 hours on just her hair.  How do you feel you did on the project? Overall I think I did pretty good. It was harder redoing her eyes because the photo was so pixelated. But I spent around 10 hours on it so I think I did well. :)
