Assignment 13 Fonts Baby!!!!

What were you trying to accomplish?
Make a funky and kinda ugly font in Illustrator.
What technical skills did you use to create the project?
I used the pen tool and did some adjustments with the while arrow. I also used the ruler guides.
How do you feel you did on the project?
If I felt more confident in my ability to write I think I could have made a neater font but I still think it looks pretty funky. :)

I'm really proud of how it turned out because I think it looks really good. It makes me want to create more things in After Effects. :) Below is a link to the tutorial I chose. Which happens to be the one that Martin posted on the assignment page. :) Glass Orb Tutorial

What were you trying to accomplish?  I wanted to see if I could recreate this classic Barbie of my childhood in Adobe Illustrator. What technical skills did you use to create the project? I used Adobe Illustrator. I used the pen tool a lot and the pencil tool. I also created a lot of gradients. In hindsight I wish I would have used pathways or whatever it's called because I spent about 5 hours on just her hair.  How do you feel you did on the project? Overall I think I did pretty good. It was harder redoing her eyes because the photo was so pixelated. But I spent around 10 hours on it so I think I did well. :)
